Naya isn’t your typical cocktail bar. It’s a perfect blend of creativity, comfort, and care — part lounge, part art space, and elevation of your standard drinking den.

Located in the backstreets of the Fontanilla area in Marbella, one that maintains a local charm while simultaneously being home to some absolute high end gems, Michelin star restaurants sit rub alongside old school tapas joints without either detracting from the other - something Marbella does well.

Owners Katina and Jean have poured their experience and passion into every detail. With backgrounds in luxury hospitality, music, and art (including time spent in the UAE at some of the finest establishments), they’ve created something that feels personal and thoughtfully put together. The atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and full of character — helped along by Katina’s flowing art pieces and a calendar of events that brings local talent into the spotlight

The drinks are mini masterpieces. I went for the Ume-Ni — a blend of gin, Umeshu, Aperol, orange blossom, and aromatic vapor. It arrived in a glass dome with a soft glow, liquid smoke and that “special touch” that turns a drink into an experience.

Delicate, balanced, and memorable. A beautifully delicate riff on the negroni, a perfect balance of bitter and sweet with a touch of the exotic.

I left with the feeling that I had to try everything else on the menu, just to see and experience them let alone taste them.

Naya has the feel of a local favourite — somewhere to unwind, connect, and enjoy something a little different. If you’re into cocktails, creativity, and finding places that fly just under the radar, this one’s worth seeking out.
